1996 Safari Trek Deisel Class A with LOW MILES and CLEAN for sale in Raymond, New Hampshire

$28,000

This is the motorhome you have been looking for, affordable, manueverable and roomy. This Class A Motor home has had a $7000 systems upgrade to the electrical, exhaust, and fuel systems. This included a new remanned fuel injection pump and injectors and a relocated PMD, which solves the high heat damage problem that affects most Treks. I have all service invoices. It has very low miles, 43,000 and the Onan generator has only 350 hours but needs a tune up as I have never used it.
This is a rare find on the east coast, especially in this great condition. This is a classic coach with a $1000 Dame Mural on the back of Snow Leopards, and is an all-aluminum body with a fiberglass cap, so it does not rust. It has all original paint, no decals and looks beautiful. All tires, including a full size spare are in good condition as well as the awnings as they are encased. Batteries (4) , Two brand new 5 year warranty starting batteries. Has array of key after market add ons, such as: Bilsteen Shocks, Super Steer System, Infiniti Brake ($1000.00 tow brake), and a full Xcaliber Tow Package for your toad. Sleeps 4+.
They call this, "The 25 footer that camps like a 35 footer" because it has a queen size bed that hides in the ceiling and lowers by an updated motor on 4 zipper gears when you want to sleep. This allows for a full size bathroom in the rear with a new high toilet, stand up shower, 2 closets and a vanity. It has a kitchen with a dinette that seats 2 or 4 in upholstered chairs, new fantastic fan, double Kohler sinks and faucet, a 3 way oversize fridge, 3 burner propane stove with hood, and a microwave convection oven. There is gorgeous solid wood cabinetry throughout the coach and the kitchen has plenty of storage. There are 2 couches in the front living area that can turn into full size beds. It has a 19 inch color TV with antenna and booster, and DVD player, and a separate 32 inch LCD TV for outside viewing. The passenger seat has a pull out vanity and mirror as well as a nearby built in magazine rack. Front seat can be spun around to face living area.
All windows operate well. There is a back up camera and the side mirrors have auto adjustment. There is a solar panel on the roof that charges the gas and fire alarm.
It has a propane water heater and furnace, two 40 gallon waste tanks and one 40 gallon fresh water tank. The propane tank is 35 gallons. There is an automatic leveling system. I removed the automatic stairs as they were not very safe and replaced with a set of sturdy wooden ones. The fuel tank is 60 gallons and has a range of 600-840 miles per tank. Recent oil change and comes with many camping extras. Why pay $100,000 for a new one, when this one will do the trick and more. Ready to use and enjoy.
This Trek is a very smart and efficient machine, in beautiful condition, it shows very well and drives well. Small size is maneuverable yet very roomy inside. Fast set up and pack up...get out and enjoy!
Here is a link to the NADA price guide for it, keep in mind this price does not include all the add ons, as well as the new upgrades, these all easily come to more than $10,000 alone. Be sure to scroll down, the average retail with the options is below, and it is $23,345, add in the $10,000 worth of add-ons and new upgrades and this is a very good deal.
